About us
One family, one oven, a lifetime
Porta do Camiño is run by a married couple who have spent their whole lives baking. He's in the bakehouse, she's behind the counter: that's how the house works.
In the bakehouse
Miguel
Up before the city wakes. Miguel looks after the dough and the oven: the bread, the empanadas and everything we bake comes from his hands.
In the shop
Mari
On the other side of the counter you'll find Mari: she knows you, gives you advice and knows which loaf you'll take before you ask. The face of the house.

The Porta do Camiño is the old gate into the walled city, where pilgrims on the French Way arrive. Finishing your stage — or just starting the day? Drop in for a sandwich, a drink or something sweet to celebrate.
